EMERGENCY UK is a UK based organization devoted to the promotion of a culture of solidarity, peace and respect for human rights.
EMERGENCY UK provides support to projects that offer free, high quality medical and surgical treatment for the victims of war and poverty.

EMERGENCY UK is looking for interns to support its day by day activities. The programme is generally on a 6-months basis and requires a good knowledge of spoken and written English. There is a variety of activities an intern will be exposed to and it will help to develop personal as well as organisational skills.

We currently do not have any vacancy. Please keep an eye on this page for future updates if you are interested in an internship at our office.
Interns participate in EMERGENCY’s work and activities on a pro-bono basis, giving of their time, skills and resources.

An intern is also a volunteer therefore the prerequisites are identical: sharing EMERGENCY’s values and founding principles; a sense of responsibility in carrying out tasks; and the ability to work in a team following operational guidelines.

For its humanitarian interventions abroad, EMERGENCY does NOT employ interns, but only trained professionals in specific fields (health care, engineering, etc.). If you’d like to work with us, click here.
