EMERGENCY UK is a UK based organization devoted to the promotion of a culture of solidarity, peace and respect for human rights.
EMERGENCY UK provides support to projects that offer free, high quality medical and surgical treatment for the victims of war and poverty.

Volunteer

Volunteering is a fundamental and necessary component of EMERGENCY's work. In the UK EMERGENCY is currently present in London. EMERGENCY UK is actively seeking to build and expand its volunteer base. In Italy for example EMERGENCY has approximately 4,000 active volunteers all over the country, subdivided in 190 local groups.

EMERGENCY is also present in Lugano and Bellinzona (Switzerland)  and there's a number of volunteer groups now active in the USA. Visit the EMERGENCY USA website.

EMERGENCY volunteers work to inform the general public and promote a culture of peace (through participation in conferences, meetings and workshops in schools, in workplaces..). Moreover, they are key fundraisers, hosting dedicated events, presenting specific projects to local entities, agencies and businesses, or manning booths at larger events.
